Do You Dare Writing Workshop
Do You Dare or DYD writing workshop is a self-development programme that through the medium of writing will help you to find the clarity, confidence, and structure you need to bring to life your incredible truth.
Do You Dare is a 6-week workshop and community that’s here to help you focus on personal growth and development through a predominantly writing focused process and provide you with an opportunity for your writing to resonate and connect with others.
This is for you if…
- You’re ready to dare to dream big and set some big goals for yourself in your life and/or work
- You’re ready to be inspired to take active steps to change
- You’re ready to connect in a human, authentic, and meaningful way
- You’re ready to learn engaging, meaningful, and sharable writing
- You’re ready to really uncover and discover your purpose
Here’s how it works…
- 6 group classes every 2 weeks
- Writing assignments in class and homework exercises
- Group participation and sharing
- Access to the Facebook Group for sharing and inspiration
There will be one homework writing assignment after each class, and you’ll be able to share it in the group for feedback, support, and encouragement too. If you can’t make the workshop for the week you also have access to the Facebook group for sharing and support.
You’ll also have access to a private Do You Dare or DYD Facebook group for feedback, support, and encouragement every step of the way. I’ll be in there to cheer you on, answer any questions, and give you feedback on your homework and writing assignments too.
How does this class work exactly? How will you be teaching it?
As a coach, I believe I can serve you best by holding space, asking the right questions, and supporting you to discover and explore your own answers along the way. But because this is a group exercise I will be facilitating and guiding the group through each exercise. Through each module, I’ll be sharing with you ideas, exercises, resources, and tools to help you dive deep and uncover your own answers and clarity moving forward.
What type of person is this class for?
Anyone who dares to change and use the writing process and other tools as a form of self-development. This is presented as an alternative to the coaching process and uses the group dynamic as tool to provide support and community.
How much time will I need to dedicate to it each module?
With everything in life, the more you put into this class the more you will get out of it. That being said, I’ve kept each module as fluff free, to-the-point, and as easy to follow as possible – while still packing in the most important things that I hope and believe can be of service to you along the way.
I would estimate that you will get the most out of this class by putting aside at least 1-2 hours to work on it each week for the homework and attending each writing workshop (1-2 hours) every 2 weeks. You can also make the most out of it be engaging in the community for support, feedback, and encouragement too.
How much access will I have to you in the Facebook community?
I’ll be in there to offer feedback, support, and encouragement. I’ll endeavor to answer all individual questions in the community that are asked over the six weeks and I can’t wait to connect with you there and cheer you on every step of the way!
Can I access the content after the class has finished?
You sure can, and to make it easy for you once the class has finished I’ll resend all of the content to you in one big PDF so you can revisit the materials whenever you want.
